Welcome underground cuisine has been inspired by the essence of northwest frontier tradition, succulent tandoori fare, low on oil and high on authenticity, called PESHAWRI CUISINE. Established in March 2013, Underground Indian Cuisine, as the name suggests, is actually located in the basement of a building in Irving, Dallas. It is the brainchild of Amit Paul, who is both the owner and chef at Underground. We want to provide our customers a complete dining experience – delicious food, exceptional customer service and perfect ambiance and we strive to make this happen.
Apart from Dum Pukht cuisine we have recently introduced “Indo-Chinese” cuisine with select and highly delectable dishes. We also cater to private parties – be it at your location or within our restaurant. We also have a private room with a seating capacity of 40 ppl where you can organize your party. Please check with us as to how you can reserve this place.
Why the name “Underground”?
When we first opened our restaurant, there were lot of questions about our name. We consider ourselves to be unique as our dining facilities are under the ground – one has to go down the stairs or in our exquisite elevator and hence the name.
